Brac-Bol port in Croatia is a hidden gem for those seeking a unique and authentic travel experience. Located on the island of Brac, this charming port is surrounded by crystal-clear waters and boasts breathtaking views. Visitors can indulge in water sports, explore hidden coves, or simply relax on the pristine beaches. With its rich cultural heritage and picturesque streets, Brac-Bol is a must-visit destination for those seeking an escape from the typical tourist crowds.

The town of Slano is a small tourist center 40 km from Dubrovnik. Slano is located in a cozy bay with fine pebble beaches and rich Mediterranean vegetation.

Several unique monuments of history and culture are very well preserved here - the Roman tombs of V century, a Franciscan monastery with a church of the XIV century, a palace of the XV century, many chapels and temples.

Legend has it that on the island of Brac, in the picturesque port of Bol, a fierce dragon once roamed the streets, terrorizing the town's inhabitants. The dragon had fiery red scales, razor-sharp teeth, and could breathe fire, causing widespread destruction in its wake.

The people of Bol lived in constant fear until a brave knight named Vid arrived on the island. Vid was known for his courage and his skill with a sword, and the townspeople begged him to slay the dragon and save them from its wrath.

Undeterred by the danger, Vid accepted the challenge and went in search of the beast. After a long and perilous battle, he finally managed to defeat the dragon and free the town from its reign of terror. In honor of his bravery, the townspeople built a statue of Vid in the town square, which still stands today as a reminder of the island's rich history and the courage of its people.

Visitors to Bol can still see the statue of Vid, and many locals believe that his spirit still lingers in the town, watching over its inhabitants and protecting them from harm. The legend of the dragon and the knight has become a beloved part of Brac's folklore, and visitors to the island can experience the magic and mystery of this ancient tale firsthand.
