Kingston is the largest port city, the capital of Jamaica, the place where the Caribbean Sea rumbles, reggae music sounds, and the most exotic beach resorts are located

Unremarkable at first glance and soulful upon closer acquaintance, Kingston shatters all the myths that go around about it, and impresses with its measured flow of life and philosophical approach to it. And what else would you expect from the home of reggae and Bob Marley? Only this relaxed, positive and sunny mood, which infects you from the first minute of being in the city.

According to Jamaican folklore, the city of Kingston was once home to the powerful sorceress, Annie Palmer. Known as the "White Witch of Rose Hall," Annie was said to have used her magical powers to manipulate and control those around her.

Legend has it that Annie would lure young men into her home at Rose Hall, where she would seduce them before ultimately killing them. It's said that she would then bury their bodies in the property's many hidden graveyards, which were scattered throughout the surrounding hills.

Despite the fact that many of her victims' bodies were never found, Annie's reign of terror came to an end when she was murdered by a group of slaves seeking revenge for the atrocities she had committed against their people.

Today, Rose Hall is a popular tourist attraction in Kingston, drawing visitors from all over the world who come to see the historic mansion and learn more about Annie Palmer's dark and twisted legacy.
