Explore the beautiful painting of the 15th century Parish Church St. Juraj located at the highest point of the town and enjoy the stunning marine scenery that opens at the church cemetery. Learn everything about vine industry at Bucavac vineyard, acknowledged as a UNESCO heritage site. Try the famous local red Babic wine and buy some olive oil. Buy exceptionally good home made honey and honey products at Gracin honey shop. Go eco-fishing on the board of JADRAN III fishing boat or catamaran sailing. Marvel at the Statue of Our Lady of Loreto on the hill nearby Marina Kremik and fall in love with the panorama scenery. Go diving at one of the 50 diving locations at Pongo Diving Center. Have fun and learn about the local culture at Primosten fiesta organized on the first week of August. Take a pretty picture near the state of the Fisherman with a Cat. Take a look at the religious parades at the fest days of Our Lady of Porto on July, 27th and Our Lady of Loret on May 9th and 10th. The name of Primosten originates from Croatian word “primostiti”, which means “to connect with a bridge”. Primosten originally was an island, but in the 16th century the inhabitants connected it with the mainland via a bridge to protect themselves from the Osman attackers.
