Обладая острым умом и бесстрашной храбростью, Ластово быстро стал местным героем, известным своими смелыми выходками и хитрыми стратегиями, позволяющими перехитрить пиратов.

Однажды, исследуя изрезанное побережье острова, Ластово наткнулся на скрытую пещеру. Войдя, он был поражен, обнаружив, что он наполнен драгоценными сокровищами, включая золотые монеты, драгоценности и ценные артефакты. Преодолев жадность, Ластово начал набивать карманы сокровищами, сколько мог унести.

Но когда он возвращался к берегу, он попал в засаду, устроенную бандой пиратов, которым о сокровищах сообщил ревнивый соперник. В завязавшемся бою Ластово был смертельно ранен, но перед смертью сумел спрятать сокровища в секретном месте.
